Maria Miller, a spokeswoman for Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy, said Kilpatrick is expected to plead guilty at 5 p.m. today before Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Edward Ewell.
There is not going to be any guilty plea today. This was just a way to try to get the governor to stop the 'kick him out of office hearings'. If those hearings go on, and Kilpatrick gets kicked out of office, he won't have anything left to plea bargain with. I am sure that he wants to step down. But he won't until he is guaranteed that he won't go to jail. He is facing (10) 15yr. felonies. I say to just lock his butt up.
